I don’t know about y’all but I need a break from thinking about all the racial tension that’s been happening. Add the pandemic peaking over 2,000,000 and it feels like there is no end to surprises this year. It’s challenging to chat about fashion when the world seems to be turning upside down.
So to lighten the mood, I’m going to talk to y’all about this swanky yellow summer dress from ASOS. It’s my favorite new online store. The clothes are of great quality and fit my curves very well.
Of course, I am doing some online retail therapy and tried ASOS for the first time.
I am really cautious shopping online because it can be a hassle making returns if the fit is wrong. Not to mention, retail stores have amended their return policies due to COVID-19.
So I took the chance and grabbed my size in this yellow maxi pleated dress.

However, don’t mix too many colors together in the same outfit. One main color does the job. Balance the outfit with relaxed sandals. I prefer a pair of jelli platforms. They help maintain a relaxed look and while still chic.
