As the summer slowly comes to a close, I am finally taking the time to play a little. With moving, working, running a business and a home solo, taking time to play has to be intentional.
I am by no means boring, but shopping in the sun is a lot different from waiting on a ride in an amusement park in the sun. Nonetheless, my little 9 year old fun starter is always eager and feels responsible to pull me over to the fun side.
I packed a quick lunch and we headed to the pool. Fadzwa is always so anxious to just jump in, putting on sunscreen is far from her priority. She reminds me not to take life so serious.
My daughter collects swimsuits like souvenirs, and can barely resist requesting a new one whenever we are out and about. On that note, I must be honest, and I am almost embarrassed to say, It’s been years since I added a bathing suit to my wardrobe. However, in this new chapter of my life I am determined to have it all.
This Laundry bathing suit by Shelli Segal is true to the brand with brilliant signature prints, chic and of course sexy. In case I need to move around the neighborhood, I went with a heavier cover and leather belt to transform from swimwear to casual wear.
My daughter kept her look interesting with a tutu instead of a cover. And to keep up the fun, a wagon of toys made the cut. Doing hair after a swim can be such a chore and the chlorine is a true moisture stripper. Swim caps are handy and stylish.
